commented on the band's sound: "It's weird. See, it's funny because we have been doing this for so long. When we started,
this shit was not cool. Everyone told us mixing the two genres wouldn't work. Hell, a lot of people still feel that way. We've
just always played what we wanted to hear, and to be honest people weren't doing it back then. We loved pop punk, we loved
hardcore bands, and we couldn't decide what to be be. So we said f**** it. Let's do them both."

they were ready to dive right in, taking the stage for more than 200 shows their very first year. The group issued their own
EP, peddling it at their live shows, and eventually they inked a deal with Indianola in early 2005. Their first album, And
Their Name Was Treason, dropped that same year. By the time 2006 rolled around, A Day to Remember were put on the payroll
of big-time Chicago record label, Victory Records. In early 2007, they issued For Those Who Have Heart, which was followed
by Homesick two years later. What Separates Me from You arrived in 2010. After a clash and eventual lawsuit with Victory,
A Day to Remember issued their 2013 album, Common Courtesy, independently. A Day to Remember launched a tour of Europe and
the U.K. in early 2014, and later on in the year, crisscrossed the U.S. along with Chiodos, Bring Me the Horizon and Motionless
