In 1996, Swedish singers Katja Nord and Camilla Dahlin began performing in a band they created called Waterloo. Waterloo paid homage to the 1973 song by ABBA called "Waterloo," that was the band's breakthrough hit. Just like the original members of ABBA, Katja and Camilla mirrored the style-both musical and fashion-and created a one-of-a-kind tribute band of sorts. The girls began getting recognized for their uncanny resemblance to Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad. It wasn't long before the girls were gaining national attention, establishing Waterloo as the top ABBA band in Norway. In 2001, Waterloo began collaborating with the Danish production company CS Entertainment ApS to produce ABBA - The Show, which was the musical retelling of ABBA's story through music. The story was presented along with the National Symphony Orchestra of London. During the fall of that year, the show played a three-week concert-house tour through Norway, Denmark and Sweden to sold-out crowds who couldn't seem to get enough of the band.
