The talented and red-headed guitarist/singer/songwriter Allan Carl Newman, a.k.a. A.C. Newman, made a dent in the Canadian music scene in the early 1990s. He was a member of Superconductor, an alternative rock/grunge group. In the mid-90s, Newman joined power-pop group Zumpano. His stint with them culminated into two popular albums: Look What the Rookie Did and Goin' Through Changes.
