ACC Tournament tickets are now available. The ACC Champion, as determined by this end-of-season tournament, will be given the conference's automatic bid into the National NCAA Tournament. Many other teams will simply make the NCAAs by the strength of their regular season play, with the ACC tournament simply deciding bragging rights for the off season.
Some of the best basketball tickets outside of the National Tournament are NCAA basketball tickets to the ACC Tournament. This annual tradition since 1954 has decided the ACC Champion, which has been won by eight of the 12 ACC teams over the years. Recently Duke has been on top of the ACC, winning in '06 and '05. The tournament venue switches from year to year, but is often played at Greensboro Coliseum.
The ACC has some of the best rivalries in college sports, and every time this end-of-season tournament is played serendipitous match ups just seem to happen. Duke, UNC, NC State and Wake Forest all are considered rivals of each other on the basketball court, and mathematical probabilities coupled with the strength of these school's hoops programs demands that they meet up in the somewhere in the bracket.
