Singer/songwriter Adam Hood hails from Opelika, Alabama. To date, he has released studio albums like 21 to Enter (2002),
6th Street EP (2004), Different Groove (2007), The Shape of Things (2011) and Adam Hood EP (2011). Highlights of Hood's career
include opening for Taylor Hicks; performing at Diversafest in Tulsa; taking the stage of the Austin City Limits Music Festival;
and appearing in a segment of We're An American Band on the Documentary Channel. Additionally, his single Flame and Gasoline
landed at No. 9 on The Texas Music Charts, and the single 22 Days Too Long climbed as high as No. 17 on the Texas Music Chart.
One of Adam Hood's most groundbreaking records to date is The Shape of Things, which garnered him his first Lonestar Music
Award for Singer-Songwriter/Folk Album of the Year in April 2012. The Lonestar Music Awards also listed Hood in four additional
categories, including Best Male Vocal; a tremendous accomplishment for any non-Texas artist. But it was Hood's tireless work
on the road throughout Texas and the Southeast that set the foundation for his current success. And a chance encounter with
Miranda Lambert didn't hurt either. Lambert caught his show at New Braunfels' Tavern on the Gruene in 2007. Taken with his
captivating vocals and razor-sharp wit, she contacted Hood to extend an invitation for him to perform at her birthday party
where he would be introduced to producer Frank Liddell - an introduction that boosted Hood's opportunities for success even
more!
Adam Hood as toured with musical talents like Todd Snider, Pat Green, Miranda Lambert, Ian Moore and Leon Russell. He was
also included on the Willie Nelson Throwdown Tour for the summer of 2011 as part of the Bluebird Cafe singer/songwriter group.
