Network?
The StubHub Affiliate Network allows you to promote great sports, concert, theater and Broadway tickets to your users. You get paid every time a visitor uses your StubHub link to buy tickets on StubHub.com.
Which ticket sales are
eligible?
All ticket purchases completed by customers other than yourself are eligible.
Can I buy tickets through my own affiliate links?
The StubHub Affiliate Program's purpose is to reward affiliates for driving new customers to StubHub. Purchasing through your own affiliate links is not permitted. Affiliates found in violation of this policy will forfeit their program eligibility.
Will it cost me anything to become a
StubHub.com Affiliate?
Not a penny! The StubHub Affiliate Network is absolutely FREE, and you may cancel your account at any time.
How and when do I get
paid?
StubHub is partnered with PayPal, the secure way to receive payments online. Through PayPal, you may request that your earnings be transferred directly into your bank account, or that a check be mailed to you. You will be paid on a monthly basis; payments will be made within 30 days of the end of the month.
What if I don't have a PayPal
account?
Opening a PayPal account is fast, easy, and completely free. Just go
to PayPal.com and register.
What if my PayPal account email is different then my everyday email?
It's easy to add your everyday email account to your PayPal account. You can add up to six different email addresses to one PayPal account. You can do so by navigating "My Account-Account Information-Email"at PayPal.com. ***
How do I join?
It's simple! Just read the StubHub.com Affiliate Operating Agreement and submit an
application at :
http://www.StubHub.com/affiliate-sign-up
Your application will be reviewed within one to two business days. Once approved, you'll receive an email with your login information and detailed instructions to help you get started.
How does StubHub.com track
affiliate sales?
StubHub utilizes the My Affiliate Program Tracking and Management solution by Kowabunga!, featuring technologies specifically designed to track sales generated through the encoded links on your site.
What if my visitors don't use StubHub
right away?
You will be paid for all transactions that occur 60 days after a visitor first uses your links. How this works: when your site refers a customer, their computer automatically receives a "cookie" with a specific code assigned to you. This cookie, a string of text used as an identifier, will last for 60 days. So, even if a customer purchases tickets two months after clicking your links, we will retrieve your code from their computer and credit you for the sale.
Can a website based
outside the United States become an affiliate?
Yes! Please note that all commission checks will be paid in US
dollars only.
Can I link to
StubHub.com from more than one website?
Yes! Submit all URLs where you plan to promote StubHub.com via email
at affiliate@StubHub.com.
Am I eligible to become a
StubHub.com Affiliate?
Any website can apply for membership into the StubHub Affiliate Network. Because ticket availability can fluctuate in the sports and entertainment industries, the most successful affiliate sites tend to be fan sites and sites featuring sports, music or theater content. Some unrelated sites, however, have also had strong results.
Please note that we reserve the right to reject any site, including
those that:
- promote sexually explicit material
- promote violence
- promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age
- promote illegal activities
- violate any copyrights or intellectual property rights
Can I use StubHub in my URL or in the name of my website?
No. Any websites including StubHub.com in the URL or in the name of the website will not be accepted into our network.
What if I don't have a website to submit on my application?
If you don't yet have a URL, or don't intend to promote StubHub through a particular website, please contact affiliate@StubHub.com detailing how you plan to promote StubHub.
What methods of promotion are acceptable for a StubHub affiliate?
- Paid Search - Using Google Adwords or other search engines, you can drive traffic to StubHub by creating highly-targeted campaigns for ticket searches.
- Content Sites - Linking via banners or text links
- Opt-In Email - Email marketing can be effective if the list is highly targeted and the content is relevant. We can provide content and graphics for your emails. Please note: all email marketing must be CAN-SPAM compliant and approved by StubHub prior to being sent.
- Linking - Need the datafeeds? You can find those here: http://www.stubhub-feeds.com/datafeeds/ Also, feel free to email affiliate@stubhub.com if you'd like access to the XML Datafeed and/or whitepapers.
What methods of promotion are strictly forbidden as a StubHub affiliate?
StubHub's brand identity must be protected. Affiliate partners may not modify our logo or represent themselves as StubHub in any way, such as by posting duplicate content from StubHub.com.
- Trademark Bidding - Partners cannot profit from our trademarked terms, either through suggestive URLs or PPC keyterms.
- Message Board Postings - When using a message board or community site to generate traffic, affiliates must be compliant with that site's policies. This includes not posting on sites that prohibit all affiliate activity, such as Craigslist.org. Craigslist.org. prohibits the posting of affiliate links. Doing so will result in termination and the forfeiture of any affiliate commissions.
- Adware, Software, & More - In order to protect you, affiliate partners may not use adware, spyware, bundled software, or anything with similar technology.
