About the Artist

A Fire Inside, or AFI, formed in 1991 in Ukiah CA and have been recording and performing together for over 20 years. During that time they have released eight studio albums, 10 EPs, and one live record, while building up an incredibly loyal fan base. Similar to many of their peers in the 1990's, the band didn't make a commercial impact until their fifth album, The Art of Drowning. AFI followed up with Sing the Sorrow, which had two singles achieve measurable success on the Billboard chart. Sing the Sorrow ultimately went Platinum, selling over 1.2 million copies. The strength of the band is their longevity with the same lineup, showing more maturity and growth as a unit since their days in high school. Now these veterans are back with a new album, Burials, which boasts the single "I Hope You Suffer." Don't miss the bands new tour, playing new and old favorites for their adoring fans.

It's always rewarding to finally be there to see the musicians you've heard so many times at home.

AFI is an experience in itself, and seeing this group live could change the way you view music. Make sure to get out to a show in the very near future. Join your fellow AFI fans in the stands at a top venue.

Artist Breakthrough

Northern California punk rockers, A Fire Inside, or AFI, have definitely paid their dues. Since forming in 1991 while still in high school, AFI have toured tirelessly and have released eight studio albums. Though they didn't get their first taste of mainstream success until 2003'sSing the Sorrow, AFI enjoys an incredibly loyal fan base that is as passionate as any out there. AFI helped form the niche within alternative music of melodic hardcore or goth-punk that had it roots in the Misfits and evolved to include bands like Son of Sam and My Chemical Romance. The band has constantly toured to support their studio efforts and has always been renowned for their live shows.
