Do robots fall in love? If they do, then they do it to the music of Air. Since the ‘90s, when the duo of Nicolas
Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel began performing together under the name, they've been lauded for their particularly softer
vision of electronic music—more the soundtrack to a stormy day spent indoors than the hi-NRG beats of rave culture.
Air formed in 1995 when Godin and Dunckel started fusing the French pop of the ‘60s with electronic soundscapes.
The music was laidback as opposed to danceable, and in time, they became known for the atmosphere their albums create. Moon
Safari, their debut released in 1998, was a major hit.
If you want to attend Air's upcoming tour, then you need to buy concert tickets now. This
band's audience exploded after the release of the film adaptation of The Virgin Suicides in 1999. Since then, Air
tickets have been hard to get a hold of when you wait too long. Look up above and see where they will be!
