The land of Australia has a long history of success in the rock world. Perhaps one of the most iconic rock bands of all
time, AC/DC, hails from the Land Down Under, after all. Now, another band is ready to take the Australian rock torch into
the next generation. Their name is Airbourne, and they have been winning over fans worldwide at all of their concert dates.
Airbourne traces its roots back to the childhood of brothers Joel and Ryan O'Keeffe. Both started playing their respective
instruments-Joel on drums and Ryan on guitar-as young men and soon started making music together. They added other talent
to their brotherly collaboration, and Airbourne was formed. They released their first EP in 2004 and have been gaining momentum
ever since.
The popularity of Airbourne was helped when they were noticed by legendary acts. They were featured as a supporting act
for such greats as the Rolling Stones and Motley Crue. They released their debut album, Runnin' Wild, in 2007, and added to
their fan base with singles like "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast" and the title track. Airbourne
tour dates are a chance to see them live.
