Alaska Airlines Arena History
The good news is that you don't actually have to go to Alaska to make it out to the
Alaska Airlines Arena (commonly referred to as Hec Ed), though you probably should some day anyways. No, this unbelievable
arena is in Seattle Washington, where it has been the home to the Washington Huskies basketball teams (men's and women's)
since it broke ground all the way back in the late-1920s. From the roaring 1920s on, Alaska Airlines Arena has become a staple
of the local community for a reason, and that's because there is always one amazing event or another going down at the top
venue on the University of Washington campus.
But even though Alaska Airlines Arena has plenty of history behind it,
don't expect a fossil that can't relate to the modern world either. With some state-of-the-art renovations in 1999-2000, Alaska
Airlines Arena is an unbelievable place to see a game that combines both the old and the new, making it simply the only place
to be if you love college basketball played at its highest possible level. Once you're there with thousands of your fellow
fans (there is a capacity of 10,000), you'll be glad that you made it happen.
Alaska Airlines Arena Events/Teams
probably heard of the Washington Huskies, and that's because they're always making some big-time news in the Pac-12, one of
the elite conferences in all of college basketball. The Huskies always have a roster absolutely loaded with stars that can
change the direction of a game in a big hurry, which is why there is never a dull moment when they're squaring off against
a top-tier opponent that will make the intensity level rise to unbelievable levels.
The men's basketball team is definitely
not the only team that knows how to put on a show, however, as Alaska Airlines Arena is also routinely rocking with fans that
pour out to see the women's team light up the scoreboard. You can also catch volleyball and gymnastics matches, making this
the place to be for all kinds of different sporting events.
One of the great cities
in the country, Seattle has plenty of amazing choices for entertainment, though it doesn't get much better than watching a
big basketball game at Alaska Airlines Arena. Known for its unbelievable scenic beauty and lush natural landscapes, you can
spend the day in the wilderness then head onto the University of Washington campus and checkout an amazing slice of basketball
that you'll be talking about long after the final whistle. Seattle is also known for its pro sports teams as well, from the
Seattle Mariners of the MLB to the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL, giving you plenty of reasons to hit the road and checkout
one of the best cities you'll find anywhere.
But there's also more than just sports, as Seattle is also known –
of course – for its coffee roots and for the grunge music movement spear-headed by legendary band Nirvana.

Whether you're on the right, left or somewhere in the center, you're bound to get a great
show. No, we're not talking about governmental impasses and political theater; we're talking about the elegant seating arrangement
of the Alaska Airlines Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. There isn't a bad seat in the house, which is something that you really
won't understand until you actually make it out to see it for yourself. Once you're there watching one of your favorite players,

their popularity. With so many great moments over the years, from concerts to top-tier sporting events, Alaska Airlines Arena
is just one of those places that continues to rise in stature in the neighboring community. But no matter how nice it can
