Formed during their “down” time between other heavy metal bands Pantera, Crowbar and Corrosion of Conformity, these long-time Southern friends formed Down in the mid’90s, producing three heavy-hitting rock albums, NOLA (an abbreviation for their hometown of New Orleans), Down II and Over the Under. The group has continued to split their time between the original groups and Down, touring across the nation to promote their heavy metal sound.
