After a strenuous road of auditions, Dweezil Zappa, who formed the group, chose Sheila Gonzalez (saxophone, flute, keyboards, vocals), Pete Griffin (bass), Billy Hulting (marimba, mallets, percussion), Jamie Kime (guitar) and Joe Travers (drum) to join him in recreating the Zappa sound.
