There is a lot going on at Aloha Stadium but far and away the biggest annual draw to the stadium is Hawaii Warriors football. This season the Warriors have home games against the Washington Huskies, the Oregon State Beavers, the Wyoming Cowboys the Northern Iowa Panthers, the Nevada Wolf Pack, the Utah State Aggies, and the UNLV Rebels. The Warriors will look for support from their biggest fans when they look to make a big move up the Mountain West Conference standings in 2014. Of course the NFL Pro Bowl and the Hawaii Bowl also attract their fair share of football fanatics. While football is the main draw at Aloha Stadium, the venue has also been known to host the occasional concert and has seen some of the biggest names in music perform including the Police, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, the Rolling Stones, Mariah Carey, U2, Kenny Chesney, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, and more.

Halawa is located not far from Honolulu which is the capital of Hawaii and has plenty to offer visitors and residents alike. Of course there are the marvelous beaches, Diamond Head, Ala Moana Crater and all of the beauty you can experience by hiking around these areas or simply relaxing on the beach and listening to the waves. If you happen to be in Honolulu at the right time you could watch the NFL Pro Bowl or a big time college basketball tournament. Of course you cannot go to Honolulu without visiting the USS Arizona Memorial to pay tribute to the people lost during the Pearl Harbor attack.

In addition to sports and concerts, Aloha Stadium is home to a well-attended swap meet that is held in its parking lot every Wednesday through Saturday. The stadium was built to replace the outdated Honolulu Stadium which was demolished in 1976.
