Andras Schiff was born in Budapest in 1953, and he began to study the piano at the age of five. He continued his study of the piano and classical music at the Ferenc Liszt Academy and launched himself into tours thereafter with several orchestras around the world. Schiff also founded the Cappella Andrea Barca in 1999 and continues to tour both by himself and with his wife, violinist Yuuko Shiokawa. Schiff has been gathering fans for decades, and every show is a lively event geared towards precision and emotion.
