Music was one of Murray's hobbies but never something serious as she was going to school to become a physical education teacher. Murray decided to take it more seriously when she was offered a record deal and came out with "Snowbird" in 1970, which was a crossover song between country and pop. Throughout the '70s and '80s Murray was successful with her music that boarder lined country and pop. Murray is back on stage and have a chance to see her live with some tickets.
