        Home to the UC Irvine Anteater’s baseball team, the Anteater Ballpark holds 2,900 people and first opened in 2002. The UC Irvine Anteaters are a NCAA Division I school, participating in the Big West Conference and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. The baseball team has been ranked as high as fourth in the country and has topped the Best West Conference standings.
