Influenced by gothic rock acts like Christian Death, the Cure and the Sisters of Mercy, Pink began crafting his own brand of music at an early age before breaking onto the freak-folk scene in 2000. He produces and performs all his music himself, and signed with Animal Collective's Paw Tracks label in 2000.
