Atlanta Braves Postseason Tickets

Atlanta Braves Playoff tickets

Atlanta Braves Playoffs

Making it to the playoffs has pretty much been standard operating procedure over the years for the Atlanta Braves, as they tend to have a potent roster loaded with many of the superstars of both today and tomorrow from one year to the next. Come out and see all of the clutch at-bats, sensational defensive plays and bench-gripping action that will have you recalling the big game a long time after it's all over. And even though the regular season is obviously great, it all gets taken to a completely different level when it comes to the playoffs, giving you plenty of reasons to head out and see the action the way it was meant to be seen.

There has never been a better time to put down the remote and head out to see one of the best sporting events you'll find anywhere, as there is something special about watching the Atlanta Braves take to the diamond when it's the Major League Baseball playoffs that are at stake. Come out and see all of the skyscraping homers, spectacular catches and nail-biting moments that will have you talking long after it's all over as the Braves look to make their mark on the postseason. When it comes to spectator sports, it doesn't get any better than the Major League Baseball playoffs, though you're not going to experience whole shebang from home no matter how hard you try.

The Experience

When your favorite player strolls to the plate with the game on the line, there is nothing close to being there so you can actually see the big game the way it was meant to be seen. Sure, you could watch from home or that dingy bar down the street, but it pales in comparison with actually being there to join in the action first-hand. Be there for all of the bench-gripping moments that you'll be talking about well after it's over, as there is nothing else like Major League Baseball when the postseason rolls around. With the Braves having a proud tradition that includes plenty of playoff experience, this is a team that you'll definitely want to keep your eye on once again this season.

The Team

MLB tickets for the Atlanta Braves playoff games were the hottest sports tickets in America in the mid '90s and early '00s, when the Braves won an unprecedented 14 out of 15 N.L. East Division titles. The Braves finally broke through and won the World Series in 1995 and have remained one of the most prominent teams in the league with many return trips to the postseason, providing plenty reasons for fans to think that it's only a matter of time before they're once again swinging for a title. These days, the Braves have another potent roster, including the Uptons roving the outfield, Andrelton Simmons and Dan Uggla in the infield and hurlers like Kris Medlen dominating opposing lineups, giving them the type of balance that makes them a very dangerous team in the N.L. East.

Atlanta Braves Trivia

Did you know that Greg Maddux holds the record for lowest ERA in a single season for the Braves?

Back in 1994, Maddux was the most feared pitcher in the entire league, as he dominated opponents to the tune of a ridiculous 1.56 ERA, setting him up for his third straight Cy Young Award. Maddux would win the Cy Young yet again in 1995, the year that he helped lead the Braves to their World Series title.

Atlanta Braves History

With a great slew of pitchers that included Gregg Maddux, Tom Glavine and John Smoltz, the Braves were a force for more than a decade, habitually winning the N.L. East and making them an indelible part of the neighboring community in the process. Just because they have a history of having some of the best pitching rotations in history doesn't mean that this is a team that can't bash their way up the standings as well, making them a well-balanced team that can play with anyone on the diamond. Thanks to some great players in their past and some superstars on the current roster, the Braves another team that definitely isn't going to go quietly despite playing in one of the most competitive divisions in baseball these days.

The Fans

Turner Field has been the backdrop for many great postseason moments, providing the perfect atmosphere that has helped make it one of the icons of the Atlanta sports scene. But if you've never seen a postseason MLB match-up, you have absolutely no idea what you've been missing, as there is nothing close to the experience of watching baseball when the stakes are this high. Home or on the road during the playoffs, you can count on there being plenty of passionate fans that make it to the stands to show their support, giving you plenty of reasons to make sure you don't miss a pitch of the excitement as the Braves take aim at a title.
