Atlanta Braves Playoffs

When the Braves take to the field for a highly anticipated ball game, it won't be hard to figure out why there is so much excitement for the home team, as the Braves have a great fan base that shows up in a very big way for all of the crucial moments of the Braves' season. Come out and see if the Braves have what it takes to make a move in the ultra-competitive N.L. East, a tough division that is always loaded with some of the biggest superstars in the game. Put it all together and the Braves have both a talented team and a great group of challengers on their schedule every year, making for all kinds of amazing moments as the Braves look to make it happen and swing their way closer to a title.

And even though the regular season is obviously great, it all gets taken to a much different level when it comes to the postseason, as the intensity goes through the roof and suddenly you'll be right in the thick of an absolutely amazing sports spectacle that you have to see first-hand to truly appreciate. There is nothing quite like being there in the middle of an epic Braves' game that has all the makings of a new classic, particularly when it's the postseason and they're playing for all of the marbles. When your favorite player strolls to the plate in a key spot that could make or break the ball game, the experience will speak for itself.

Atlanta Braves Team Info

The Braves have put together a long history of success, but these days the Braves have another potent roster, including the Justin and B.J. Uptons, Freddie Freeman and more as they look to take another step forward with their franchise and once again announce themselves as major contenders. On the bump, the Braves have a strong starting pitching staff and they have one of the best closers in the game in Craig Kimbrel, who is known to slam the door shut and bring home the wins throughout the season. With the Braves continuing to be one of the most consistently competitive teams in the league and all kinds of rising talent, this is a team that you definitely don't want to miss out on.

MLB Playoff Experience

Be there for all of the bench-gripping moments that you'll be talking about well after it's over, as there is nothing else like Major League Baseball when the postseason rolls around. With the Braves having a proud tradition that includes plenty of playoff experience, this is a team that the rest of the division will be keeping their eye on. The regular season Braves experience is obviously great, but the playoffs are a whole new ball of wax, but you're not really going to figure that out sitting at home. When you're there with tens of thousands of your fellow fans at Turner Field, it won't be hard to see why the Braves are such a staple of the Atlanta sports scene.

Atlanta Braves History

With a great slew of pitchers that included Gregg Maddux, Tom Glavine and John Smoltz, the Braves were a force for more than a decade in the '90s and early '00s, when the Braves won an unprecedented 14 out of 15 N.L. East Division titles. The Braves finally broke through and won the World Series in 1995 and have remained one of the most prominent teams in the league with many return trips to the postseason, providing plenty reasons for fans to think that it's only a matter of time before they're once again the mix for a title. It won't be easy with some other talented teams in the division, but that only makes for some great rivalries along the way as the Braves look to add to their already impressive trophy case.

Atlanta Braves Trivia

Did you know that Greg Maddux holds the record for lowest ERA in a single season for the Braves?

Back in 1994, Maddux was the most feared pitcher in the entire league, as he dominated opponents to the tune of a ridiculous 1.56 ERA, setting him up for his third straight Cy Young Award. Maddux would win the Cy Young yet again in 1995, the year that he helped lead the Braves to their World Series title. Overall, Maddux would go down as one of the greatest pitchers of all-time, which isn't bad considering he mainly through in the mid-1980s during the most prolific offensive era in baseball history.
