Atlantic 10 Basketball Trivia

Did you know that Dayton made it to the Elite Eight for the first time in 30 years with their gallant run in 2014?

Though the Flyers didn't do so well in the A-10 Tournament, they regrouped and did some serious damage in the Big Dance, as they won three games and gave their fans the best season the program has seen in three decades. Previously, the Flyers of Dayton had made the Elite Eight just two times – in 1967 and 1984. 2014 also marked the first time the Flyers made it to the Sweet Sixteen since 1984 as well, even though they had made it to the Tournament in 1985, 1990, 2000, 2003, 2004 and 2009. Of course, the best season for the Flyers happened all the way back in 1967, as the Flyers nearly ran the table and ended up the NCAA Tournament runner-up.
