        Born in South Haven, Michigan in 1963, she moved along with her family to Evanston, Illinois and has since thrived in the Chicago area. She first started making prints in the late '70s after training at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, following her MFA at Northwestern University. In 1997 she first started developing ideas for the book "The Time Traveler's Wife," which was published in 2003 and eventually made into a film. Speaking tour tickets are now on sale!

        Author of the international best seller "The Times Traveler's Wife," Audry Nifenegger is not only a praised author but also a celebrated artist, having studied visual arts and publishing her first handmade books in editions of ten in the '70s. In 2009 she released her second novel, "Her Fearful Symmetry," and continues to promote her book arts center, the Columbia College Chicago Center for Book and Paper Arts - see her today with theater tickets.
