From studying contemporary Christian music at Greenville College singer/keyboardist Dan Layus and guitarist Josiah Rosen moved to LA in 2004, with a view to pursue their music more intensely. Adding keyboardist John Vincent, bassist Jared Palomar and drummer Justin South the group reformulated themselves and signed with Epic Records in 2005. Their first major release was All The Stars and Boulevards in 2005, eventually reaching number one on Top Heatseekers.
