        Balch Fieldhouse Events Tickets – A Team’s Historic Venue

        The Balch Fieldhouse was built in 1937 and is home to the Colorado Buffs basketball team. In its first year the team had a home victory of 43-38. The building is 37,050 square feet and made primarily of stone and concrete. The venue seats about 7,000 patrons but is cut back to about 4,000 for basketball games. In 1967 the buildings name went from CU Fieldhouse to Blach after Roland E. Blach, a member of the athletic and physical education deparments.
