Oriole Park at Camden Yards is the home of the Baltimore Orioles, a franchise of Major League Baseball.
The Orioles play in the American League East, so fans will often see teams like the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Tampa
Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays hit the field at Oriole Park. This stadium is capable of accommodating more than 45,000 fans,
which makes for an amazing atmosphere for the O's biggest games. Fans pour into the stands for each and every home game as
the Orioles look to rack up the wins and contend for the AL East title.
Oriole Park at Camden
Yards first opened back in 1992 and has been the home of Major League Baseball's Baltimore Orioles ever since. The Baltimore
Orioles are one of the most historic franchises in all of Major League Baseball and have some of the most passionate and knowledgeable
fans in the sport. The Orioles franchise has been in the American League since 1901 but they originally were the Milwaukee
Brewers. That only lasted for one year and the franchise moved to St.Louis in 1902 where they were known as the St. Louis
Browns. In 1954 the franchise made their final move to Baltimore and became the Orioles. Plenty of historic players have donned
the orange and black of the Orioles from Cal Ripken Jr. to Brooks Robinson to Boog Powell to Frank Robinson and more. After
suffering fourteen straight losing seasons from 1998 through 2011, the Orioles finally made a return to the playoffs in 2012.
At long last the fans in Baltimore had something to cheer for and with a talented, young roster it seems as though the O's
are ready to be contenders for a long time to come. Despite missing the playoffs in 2013 hopes are still high for the Orioles
going forward. Taking in a game at Camden Yards is one of the best experience in all of professional baseball, but when you
get your Orioles tickets you will also want to be sure to get some parking passes to make entry to the stadium, as well as
exiting from it, as easy as possible.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards has seen its fair share
of great baseball games, and Orioles fans know that they're often in for a real treat when they head out to the ballpark for
a contest. On September 6, 1995 Baltimore legend Cal Ripken Jr. set the record for the most consecutive games played in the
history of Major League Baseball, a record that many figure will never be broken. On April 4, 2001 Oriole Park saw its first
no-hitter, as Hideo Nomo dazzled all in attendance despite being on the opposing team. On August 22, 2007, the Rangers beat
the Orioles by a score of 30-3, the highest-scoring game in more than 100 years.
