2014 Baltimore Orioles Road Schedule

We all know that home games at Camden Yards are an absolute must for Orioles fans, but every fan eventually needs to get out to see the Orioles on the road, as you'll end up with a completely different perspective that will have you looking at your calendar to see when you can do it all over again. Come out and sport your gear this season and you'll see what it's like to cheer for team in hostile territory in another season loaded with incredible match-ups. It's never easy in the A.L. East, the division often considered the most competitive in baseball, but the Orioles always seem to have a talented team that is looking to swing its way up the standings, with Chris Davis, Adam Jones and more leading the way.

Watching baseball played at its highest level is something to behold, particularly when it's a talented team like the Baltimore Orioles that is doing battle. Come out and see all of the towering homers, spectacular diving catches and nail-biting moments that will have you talking long after it's all over as the Orioles hope to light up the scoreboard and once again give their fans another memorable season of excitement.

The Experience

There's nothing like being in the stands when the game is on the line, so ditch the couch, brush off the potato chips and get ready to see a game you won't soon forget. Major League Baseball has plenty of great games on the schedule each and every season, from plenty of top-tier regular season battles to postseason clashes that you'll have to see first-hand to believe. These are some of the best athletes in the entire world, though that's something that you need to see for yourself to truly appreciate. When you're there rooting for your team with the crowd's energy steadily rising, you'll definitely be glad that you're not still sitting anywhere else.

The Team

From Cal Ripken to Frank Robinson, and plenty of other great players in between, the Orioles just have one of those amazing histories that helped build a considerable reputation with the neighboring community. Though home games are great, road games are also a must if you're a true fan, and there has never been a better time to get out and see the big game the way it was meant to be seen. The Orioles' schedule is always absolutely packed to the brim with great match-ups, and it doesn't get much better than seeing the Orioles do their thing on the road with thousands of your fellow baseball fans. Once you're there seeing the game first-hand, you'll never want to go back to watching on your flatscreen ever again.

Baltimore Orioles Trivia

Did you know that Cal Ripken Jr. is one of only four players who have won the All-Star Game MVP more than once?

Ripken had plenty of records over the years, most notably the consecutive games played streak, but he also did very well in the annual Mid-Summer Classic. Ripken would win it once in the 80s and again in the 90s, joining players like Willie Mays, Steve Garvey and Gary Carter as the only players to ever win multiple MVP awards in the All-Star Game.

Baltimore Orioles History

MLB tickets to see the Orioles have been in the sports tickets market since the start of the 1901 season, but have been sold in Baltimore since 1954 to give fans decade upon decade of big-time thrills. All-time great Cal Ripken Jr. played his entire career in Baltimore and set the record for consecutive games played, one of the most well-known records in all of professional sports. The Orioles also have long been staples of the A.L. East, meaning they have to go up against a string of world-class organizations like the Yankees, the Red Sox, the Rays and the Blue Jays. But the Orioles also have a very long history of successfully taking on the powerhouses in Major League Baseball, and that's a trend that isn't likely to stop any time in the near future.

The Fans

Sure, we all know that Oriole Park at Camden Yards is the place to be for much of the year when you're an Orioles fan, as it's always loaded with passion and energy for this talented team bursting with some of the best ballplayers in the world. But even though the Orioles are a great watch at home, it can be just as exhilarating to see them take to the field against a prominent foe on the road. Watching your favorite team get a chance to sport their away jerseys in a different ballpark is an exhilarating experience that dwarfs the idea of just staying at home. With so many different options on the schedule, from great division match-ups to interleague play, the Orioles will be one of those teams you won't want to miss out on this season.
