Baltimore Orioles Spring Training tickets - Orioles Spring Training Schedule

2015 Baltimore Orioles Spring Training Schedule

There's nothing quite like being there when the Baltimore Orioles are gearing up for another big spring training matchup, as this is a team that comes with all kinds of passion and fanfare from the get-go down at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota. It's never easy in the A.L. East, though the Orioles have another talented team that clearly isn't fazed by the teams with higher payrolls, which is why they continue to be the cream of the crop in the division. In 2014, the Orioles got red-hot and ran away with the division routinely considered the most competitive in baseball, giving fans one of the most memorable seasons in their history and sending Baltimore into spring training looking to do it all over again.

Come out and see some of the best ballplayers in the world as the Orioles look to light up the scoreboard and make a big move up the standings, giving you plenty of reasons to join in the excitement this season as he Orioles look to make it happen. With Nelson Cruz and Adam Jones in the heart of the order and an array of arms in the rotation and in the bullpen, the Orioles have a complete team that can do a little bit of everything, providing more than enough incentive to head out and see first-hand if they have what it takes in another intense season of action.

Of course, teams have stopped underestimating the Baltimore Orioles, as they're clearly a team that isn't going anywhere but up in the A.L. East. These days when they're down in Sarasota, everyone knows that the Orioles have one of the teams to beat in the entire league, as there has never been a better time to be an O's fan. Be there for all of the diving catches, electrifying stolen bases and towering homers that will have fans jumping out of their seat on a regular basis as the Orioles look to make yet another run towards the playoffs.

Baltimore Orioles Team Info

With current day stars like Chris Davis, rising star Adam Jones and power-hitters like Nelson Cruz filling out the roster, the Orioles know that they can compete with the Red Sox, the Blue Jays, Rays and Yankees in the A.L. East. It won't be an easy feat even after topping the division in 2014, but a good spring training will go a long way in giving them some optimism heading into a season that is sure to be loaded with skyscraping homers, bench-gripping moments and clutch at-bats that will have you at the edge of your seat. This is a team that has really come to life in recent seasons, showing that they can compete with some of the powerhouses in Major League Baseball, though it obviously helps that they have some superstars of their own who have helped to elevate the entire franchise along the way.

Add in the beautiful backdrop of southern Florida and it won't be hard to get completely swept up into the excitement as the best ballplayers in the world come to town.

Baltimore Orioles History

The Baltimore Orioles are one of the most storied and respected organizations in all of Major League Baseball, as they have a long history of winning big games and have built the type of franchise that has a very passionate fan base for a reason. The O's have won World Series titles in their illustrious history, which also includes seven American League Pennants. With a long list of amazing players like Cal Ripken Jr., Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Eddie Murray and Jim Palmer, the Orioles have been amongst the most successful organizations in all of the Majors. Though they haven't won a title since Ripken led the team over the hump in 1983, Orioles' fans are excited about their current squad thanks to a great recent couple of seasons, which has helped to keep the chatter happening all over Baltimore as the Orioles look to take the next step forward.

Baltimore Orioles Trivia

Do you know who holds the record for most runs scored by an Oriole in a single season?

The answer is Roberto Alomar, who tallied a ridiculous 132 runs during his great 1996 season. That year, Alomar put it all together for one of his best overall seasons as a pro, belting 22 homers, driving in 94 runs and hitting.328 on the season. The following year in Baltimore, Alomar would end up setting his career-high for batting average with.333.

Baltimore Orioles Fans

Oriole Park at Camden Yards is sure to be hopping down the home stretch this season as the Orioles hope to pull it all together and soar up the A.L. East standings. If it's been a while since you've been to Camden Yards, you have no idea what you've been missing, as this is a team that is in an exciting new era that you know you'll want to be a part of. Though it's the talent down on the field that obviously is the main draw, it's the fan base that helps to complete the experience, which is exactly what ends up happening at Ed Smith Stadium each and every spring training. Many fans simply can't wait until April to see games at Camden Yards, and you'll be there right along with plenty of other Orioles' fans whenever Baltimore takes to the diamond for a highly anticipated spring training bout.
