Baltimore Ravens Playoff Schedule

The Baltimore Ravens are ready to soar into the postseason this year as they eye a return to the Super Bowl. It was just a couple of years ago that this team won it all, and they think they have what it takes to make it happen yet again. Surprisingly, the Ravens missed out on the playoffs last season, but they look to be back on track this year. Still, making the playoffs in the AFC is never an easy task. The Ravens play in the AFC North Division, a division that has some of the fiercest rivalries in all of pro football. The Ravens have to get past the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers to take home the division title. However, if they can't manage to make that happen, there is always a Wild Card berth.

The Ravens have loads of playmakers on this team, and they've got a great advantage over most teams in having a Super Bowl-winning quarterback in Joe Flacco. Flacco caught fire last time Baltimore reached the playoffs and led them to the championship, and he is looking to do so yet again this time around. There are some tough teams from outside of the division, though, and the road to the Super Bowl is not going to be one without its pitfalls. The New England Patriots started the 2014 season slow, but they've rounded into form nicely and look like one of the best teams in the league. With Tom Brady under center, there is no doubt that New England is a real threat to win the conference crown. And don't forget about the reigning AFC Champion Denver Broncos and their future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning. Manning and company boasts one of the best offenses in the league, and if Baltimore has to play them in the playoffs it will be up to their defense to get the job done. Make sure you make it out to some playoff games if the Ravens can capture a postseason berth this season.

Baltimore Ravens Trivia

What team did the Baltimore Ravens defeat in the last Super Bowl they played in?

The answer is the San Francisco 49ers, and it was a very special matchup. That's because the coaches of the two teams involved that year were brothers. Baltimore was headed up by head coach John Harbaugh, while Jim Harbaugh led the San Fran squad. The Ravens were able to take home the win thanks to yet another fantastic performance from a red-hot Joe Flacco.
