About Band of Horses
Band of Horses
was formed in 2004, and they soon caught the attention of Sub Pop records after performing in Seattle. By 2005, they had released
their first EP, "Tour EP," which was a huge success. In 2006, the band was ready to release their full-length debut album,
"Everything All the Time." The album was met with praise, with Pitchfork placing it on their list of the "Top 200 Albums of
the 2000s." "Everything All the Time" reached the number 25 position on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, number 31
on the Independent Albums chart, and it also charted in the UK, Norway, and Sweden. Shortly after the release, Band of Horses
scored an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, where they performed their single, "The Funeral." The single has
since been used in a number of advertisements and television shows.
Following the success of "Everything All the Time,"
Band of Horses started working on their second studio album, "Cease to Begin," which was released in 2007. The album entered
the Billboard 200 chart at the number 35 position, and ended up landing a number 47 spot on the list of the "Top 50 Albums
of 2007" by Rolling Stone magazine.
Band of Horses' third studio album, "Infinite Arms," followed in 2010. The album
