Bayside started back in 2000 as a group of guys with a love for music. Shortly after forming, they hit the road to see New Found Glory perform, with the hope of giving the band their own demo CD. Years later, they found themselves on tour with New Found Glory, their former idols. Nowadays, you can see these guys on tour at venues throughout the country.
Bayside manages to straddle the genres of emo and indie-rock fairly evenly. They have often been compared to bands like Alkaline Trio and Taking Back Sunday, but they have their own distinctive sound that fans appreciate on its own.
