        Every year the BBandT Classic Basketball Tournament draws more and more hoops fans from around the nation, and that isn't likely to change any time soon. Get off the couch and get ready to see a big-time matchup featuring some of the most talented players in the country.         BB&T Classic

        The BB&T Classic Basketball Tournament began in 1995 as the Franklin National Bank Classic, held at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center. Journalist and author John Feinstein organized the college basketball tournament in part, and the event has since been aimed at helping raise money for the Children's Charities Foundation, which gives money to charities in the Washington area. With basketball tickets for this event, you'll not only see great basketball but will be supporting a truly good cause.

        The BB&T Classic Basketball Tournament originally featured local teams Maryland and George Washington playing the nation's best teams, but now the tournament features a variety of different teams. The Verizon Center is a great venue that is the backdrop for many big sporting events, and the BB&T Classic is sure to deliver once again this year.
