Belle and Sebastian tickets are available for this band that is from Scotland and named after a French children's television
show. As precious as their name's sake is, the band's music is much deeper than a children's show. Their sound is a mix of
folk rock and '60s pop on a very grand scale. Belle and Sebastian give you a reality check with their detailed lyrics. Get

Belle and Sebastian came together in Glasgow, Scotland and came out with their first two albums in 1996. Because of Belle
and Sebastian's sound, the band was dubbed "delicate" and "pretty." In 1997, the word of the band had reached the U.S. but
they had to pull out of a tour due to lack of money. It was when Belle and Sebastian released their album Dear Catastrophe
Waitress in 2003 that they released hits like Step in to My Office and got the attention they deserved. Get your tickets to

Originated in an all-night cafe in Glasgow in 1996, indie pop band Belle and Sebastian are often likened to Bob Dylan and
The Smiths. Stuart David and Stuart Murdoch created Belle and Sebastian. Together, they recorded some demos with Alan Rankine,
Stow College music professor. Through the college's record label, Electric Honey, Belle and Sebastian developed a full-length
album - Tigermilk. Recorded in three days, Tigermilk received a warm reception and inspired them to work on the band full-time,
enlisting Chris Geddes (keys), Stevie Jackson (guitar and vocals), Richard Colburn (drums) and Isobel Campbell (cello/vocals)
to complete the group. Their sophomore album, If You're Feeling Sinister, was coined by Spin "as one of the 100 greatest albums
between 1985 and 2005."
As Belle and Sebastian's brand image strengthened so did the demand for including their music in TV and films. High Fidelity,
a 2000 flick, references the band and includes a clip from the tune, Seymour Stein. Additionally, the title track from their
album, The Boy with the Arab Strap, was played over the end credits of Teachers, the U.K. TV series. To learn more about Belle
