Berlin came together in L.A. and released their album Pleasure Victim in 1982. Their first single from that album "Sex (I'm a…)" made such a splash in the music scene that radios refused to play it due to the graphic lyrics. Berlin's first full length album Love Life went gold and in 1986 they had a major hit with "Take My Breath Away" that was featured in the beloved film Top Gun.
