
The Berlin Philharmonic, or Berliner Philarmoniker in German, is an orchestra based in Berlin, Germany founded in 1882 by 54 musicians as “Fruhere Bilsesche Kapelle.” Its first conductor was Ludwig von Brenner, followed by Hans von Bulow, one of the world’s most esteemed conductor in the world. The orchestra has won a plethora of awards, including nearly a dozen Grammy Awards, several Classical BRIT Awards, Gramophone Awards and more.
