Big Wreck started as the brainchild of Ian Thornley, who formed the band in 1994 along with other bandmates that were classmates
at the Berklee College of Music. Big Wreck debuted on the music scene in 1997 with the single "The Oaf," which became the
band's first Top 10 hit, and continued to gain a worldwide audience thereafter.
Rock band Big Wreck was a huge hit in the '90s and early '00s, posting charting positions with albums like In Loving Memory
Of... and The Pleasure and the Greed. The band went off the radar from 2002-2010, but has reformed and is back out on the
road on a string of tour dates.
