Blessthefall began in practice sessions between high school friends guitarist Mike Frisby, guitarist Miles Bergsma, drummer Matt Traynor and bassist and vocalist Jared Warth. They realized they had something great, and began crafting their first EP, which they released in 2005. They were quickly signed to a record company and began touring with Alesana and Norma Jean in the US and Canada. They released their first full-length album, His Last Walk in April of 2007. While the first album didn't make as much of splash as they'd hoped, they were becoming more and more popular among fans and were gaining a considerable following. Their big break came with their second album Witness, which garnered much success. They began touring with their new music and hinting that they were working on another album. They traveled all over the world, including New Zealand and Australia, bringing their one-of-kind music to the masses. Blessthefall's next album Awakening, released in 2011, has also gained them much attention from critics and fans. The Alternative Press called the Most Anticipated Album of 2011, and audiences everywhere can't get enough. Their music skills and unique sound make their live performances memorable.
