BNP Paribas Open Schedule

Some of the best tennis players in the world will descend on the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California in March to compete with each other for one of the biggest prizes in the sport. The BNP Paribas Open, also referred to as the Indian Wells Masters, always features top play on the court, and in 2015 players will take to the courts from Match 9th to March 22nd for some of the most exhilarating tennis that fans have ever seen. Those lucky enough to be there in person are in for a real treat, as the top players in the world will lay it all on the line in an effort to be the one that hoists the trophy by tournament's end. In 2014 Novak Djokovic was able to take down Roger Federer in three sets to earn the title. It was Djokovic's third win at this event. Had Federer won it would have been his fifth. Djokovic, Federer and Rafael Nadal have won 10 of the last 11 tournaments at this event, showing that the elite talent in the world of tennis always arrives with their best at the BNP Paribas Open. On the women's side, Flavia Pennetta was able to win the 2014 title.

Originally known as the Indian Wells Masters, BNP Paribas serves as a Premier Mandatory stop on the women's tour and a Master's 1000 competition on the men's tour. Outside of the Grand Slam events, the BNP Paribas Open is the highest attended professional tennis tournament in the world averaging more than 370,000 attendees each year. The tournament is played on hard courts in the second largest tennis complex in the world. Aside from all of the exciting tennis action at the BNP Paribas Open, it is well worth a visit to Indian Wells Tennis Garden just to check out the venue.
