Boardwalk Hall History
Boardwalk Hall is an arena located in Atlantic City, New Jersey that attracts hoards of
people each and every year with the incredible events hosted there. Boardwalk Hall was designed by Lockwood Greene and construction
was finished in 1926 after several years of planning. The impressive structure was originally named the Convention Hall, and
eventually known as the Historic Atlantic City Convention Hall, before being renamed Boardwalk Hal. The building was declared
a U.S. Historic Landmark in 1987 and has served as a staple of the Atlantic City community since its early years. There have

attendance caused change of venue to Boardwalk Hall. It marked the first time a college football game was played indoors,
