Bowling Green, Ohio is overflowing with excitement each year as the college football
season gets underway and the Bowling Green Falcons make a big move to the top of the Mid-American Conference standings. Bowling
Green are coming off of an impressive 2013 season which saw them finish in first in the East division of the MAC with a 7-1
conference record and a 10-4 overall record. The MAC has long been regarded as one of the most competitive conferences in
college football and if the Falcons hope to repeat as division champions they will plenty of support from all of their most

home schedule for the Falcons starts off with a bang on September 6th when the VMI Keydets come to Doyt Perry Stadium. Every

opener if they plan on once again having an impressive season. On September 13th the Indiana Hoosiers come to Bowling Green,
giving the Falcons a chance to take down a Big Ten program and prove that they can compete with any team in the country. One
of the biggest games of the season takes place on October 4th when the Buffalo Bulls come to town. Last season the Bulls finished
just behind the Falcons in the East division and this game could very well determine which team finishes the season on top.
Saturday, October 18th brings the Western Michigan Broncos to town, and although the Broncos struggled in MAC play last season
every conference game is a tough battle. On November 12th the Kent State Golden Flashes take on the Falcons at Doyt Perry
Stadium in another big MAC contest. The season comes to a close at Doyt Perry Stadium on Friday, November 28th when the Ball
State Cardinals come to town. The Cardinals were one of the top teams in the MAC last season and both sides will be laying

The Bowling Green Falcons are coming off of
an incredible 2013 season in which they won the East division of the MAC going 7-1 in the conference. Quarterback Matt Johnson
will be returning for his junior year after throwing for 3,467 yards and 25 touchdowns as a sophomore. This year the offense

In fact, it has earned the nickname of the Conference of Quarterbacks after producing several players who went on to star
in the NFL at the position. The MAC is divided into two divisions the East, which consists of Bowling Green, Buffalo, Akron,,
Kent State, Ohio, Miami (Ohio), and Massachusetts, and the West which is made up of Ball State, Central Michigan, NIU, Toledo,
Western Michigan, and Eastern Michigan. Every game in the MAC is a big time match up and you will want to be sure to get your

Green football has been in existence for almost 100 years, having first played in 1919. The Falcons have claimed four national
championships, in 1928, 1948, 1956, and 1959, along with 11 conference titles and 2 division titles. Former quarterback Tyler
Sheehan holds several school passing records including most attempts and completions in a career as well as most completions
and yards in a game which he achieved in a 2009 game against Kent State. In the same game wide receiver Freddie Barnes set
the school record for receptions and receiving yards in a game.
