Former quarterback Tyler Sheehan holds several school passing records, including most attempts and completions in a career as well as most completions and yards in a game, which he achieved in a 2009 game against Kent State. Over the years, the Falcons have gained the reputation of being the type of team that is always developing some of the brightest stars in college football, solidifying themselves as major parts of the sports scene around Bowling Green.

Do you know who holds the Falcon record for most receptions in a game?

The answer is Freddie Barnes, who tallied a ridiculous 22 receptions during a game against Kent State in 2009 – the same game that quarterback Tyler Sheehan set a slew of passing records for the program. That year, Barnes ended up tallying an astounding 155 catches easily shattering the record and cementing him as one of the greatest offensive players in the history of the Bowling Green Falcons.
