If you’ve never been to the Bridgestone Invitational then now is the time for you to check out this amazing PGA Tour event first hand. Bring your whole family and see Tiger, Phil, Vijay and all the rest of the incredible Pro Golf field for yourself. You’ll be very glad you did.
Until 1998, the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational was called the WGC-NEC Invitational and the World Series of Golf. With the exception of the event in 2002, all of the past tournaments have been hosted by the Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Tiger Woods has done well in Akron recently, winning five of the last eight tournaments, including a famously photographed 2002 victory, in which Tiger sank the final hole in almost complete darkness.
Bridgestone Invitational tickets are available for purchase, and you won’t want to miss this year’s field of PGA superstars take to the greens in Akron, Ohio. Golf tickets to this event are a prized commodity because of the selectivity of the Bridgestone Invitational. Only about 75 of the top PGA and European Tour golfers will be eligible to attend, creating a crucible of concentrated talent.
