Brooklyn Hoops Winter Festival Schedule

When the Brooklyn Hoops Winter Festival gets underway, fans all over the country will be paying attention, though it's only at the Barclays Center that you can get the true experience of this one-of-a-kind basketball tournament. Come out and see some of the best athletes in the country as they look to light up the scoreboard and give fans some big-time thrills in another year of intense basketball that you know you'll want to be a part of. This year's event will feature programs like Kansas State, Tulane, VCU, Boston College, Columbia and St. John's in action, and you know everyone in attendance will end up with a great college basketball experience that you'll be talking about well after the final whistle.

This event will take place on December 28th and feature three separate games. The first game will feature St. Johns and Columbia, as these two New York-based squads go head-to-head in what should be a fantastic game for all to witness. St. Johns often has some of the better players in the nation, so Columbia will have to play team basketball in order to get the win in this one. Taking place in New York, this event should see a lot of fans of these two teams in the stands for this matchup, which is scheduled to be played at 2:30 pm.

The second game of the Brooklyn Hoops Winter Festival will be played between Kansas State and Tulane. Kansas State looks to have a leg up on Tulane in the talent department, so Tulane will have to make up for that with some disciplined play. The Kansas State Wildcats often have some of the top recruits in the country, so it's going to be an uphill battle for Tulane. Still, if enough Tulane fans can pack into the Barclays Center, it may be what the team needs to put them over the top. This game is set to tip off around 5 pm.

The final game of this tournament will feature the VCU Rams and Boston College Eagles in what could very well be the best game of the day. This contest is set to tip off around 7:30 pm and should be a hotly-contested matchup that will feature a lot of highlight reel plays. VCU has grown significantly as a program over the past few years with head coach Shaka Smart leading the charge and taking VCU hoops to another level. The Eagles will be looking to fly high in this game, but there is really no telling who will end up coming out on top. It should be a fantastic day of hoops that any basketball fan would not want to miss.
