Buckhead Theatre History
The Buckhead Theatre has been an Atlanta institution since the venue first opened in 1930
as a movie theater. Over the years the venue had several different functions before opening as its current incarnation, a
world class concert hall, in 2010. Before reopening, Buckhead Theatre was used as a movie theater, a meeting hall, the home
of the Buckhead Symphony Orchestra, and finally a concert venue. It has also been known as the Buckhead Cinema' N' Drafthouse
and the Coca-Cola Roxy before going back to its original name, the Buckhead Theatre, after undergoing renovations. These days
if there is an exciting concert coming to town, chances are it will be held at Buckhead Theatre, and StubHub is the place

Buckhead Theatre Events
Several of the biggest bands in the
world have taken the stage at Buckhead Theatre including CHVRCHES, the New Pornographers, Against Me, Gaslight Anthem, The
Airborne Toxic Event, Passenger, and more. Concerts have been held at the venue since the 1990's but the venue has seen a
rebirth since undergoing a massive renovation while it was closed from 2008 through 2010. In addition to concerts, the venue
is able to host lectures, stand-up comedy, and Broadway shows. Artists and fans alike enjoy the excellent acoustics and atmosphere
of the historic building and whatever show you are attending at Buckhead Theatre is sure to be a memorable one.
Atlanta is one of the busiest and largest metropolitan areas in the United States and as such there is always

In 1996 Atlanta hosted the Summer Olympics and the city began a renovation that continues to this day and has truly made it
a world class city. Atlanta has permanent resident companies in all major performing arts: the Atlanta Opera, the Atlanta
Ballet, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the Alliance Theatre. The Fox Theatre is a historic landmark and a great place

Theatre has 62 rows of seating on the main floor and 11 more rows up top in the balcony section. Wherever you are seated in
the venue you are sure to have a great view of all the action on stage as you enjoy a dazzling display from the state of the

The exterior of Buckhead Theatre is a stunning example of Spanish Baroque architecture
that also features a ten foot LED screen on the marquee. The Art Deco doorways open into a completely renovated main theater
that provides all of the amenities you could ask for inside one of the most recognizable buildings in Atlanta.
