Buffalo Bills Schedule

Football fans in Buffalo, New York are known as much for their dedication as for their optimism even in the face of several heart-breaking seasons over the years. The Bills have a long and proud history in the NFL and are hoping to add to that this season as they look to make a return to the playoffs. There are high expectations for the Bills this season, especially after an excellent draft that brought in highly regarded and potential future superstar wide receiver Sammy Watkins, linebacker Preston Brown, offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, and more. Navigating through AFC East division play is not an enviable task as the Bills face off against the the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots, and the New York Jets twice each season and emerging as division champs means knocking off the New England Patriots, but it seems as if the Bills are prepared to make some serious noise in the division and will likely pull off some big victories. The Bills will once again need all the help they can get from their home crowd at Ralph Wilson Stadium if they are expected to make big moves up the division standings.

The first home game at Ralph Wilson Stadium for the Bills in 2014 is a big division contest against the Miami Dolphins on September 14th. If the Bills are to make the playoffs this season they are going to have to get as many wins in home division games as possible and all of the biggest Buffalo Bills fans will want to be in the stands for the home opener. On October 12th Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and the defending AFC East champion New England Patriots come to Ralph Wilson Stadium in what will be another huge division game for the Bills. The best way for the Bills to show the league that they re now a force to be reckoned with than by knocking off the Patriots. November 23rd will be the last home division game for the Bills when they take on the New York Jets in a game that will likely have a huge impact on the final division standings. The last home game of the season will be against the Green Bay Packers on December 14th. The Packers are know as a team whose fans travel huge distances to support them and you can be sure there will be thousands of cheese heads at Ralph Wilson Stadium and it will be the job of Bills fans to show up and be even louder. Other home games include match ups against the the Kansas City Chiefs, the San Diego Chargers, and the Minnesota Vikings. Pick out the games you can attend and get your tickets from StubHub to get out to Ralph Wilson Stadium and show the Bills some support.

The Team

It is not news to the Buffalo Bills that they will have their work cut out for them while making their way through the AFC East. This being the case, they made some big moves in the off season including signing defensive end Mario Williams and reloading with an excellent draft that saw them add wide receiver Sammy Watkins, linebacker Preston Brown, offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, and others who will add depth and talent to the squad. Sammy Watkins was one of the most sought after talents in the 2014 NFL Draft and looked exceedingly impressive during the preseason and in workouts and the Bills were more than happy to get such a potentially game-changing receiver with the fourth overall pick. Quarterback E.J. Manuel will be glad to have him as a target as well as to have running back C.J. Spiller coming out of the backfield, both of whom should help him grow as a starting QB.

The Experience

If you are expecting to see an amazing sporting event, look no further as there is nothing that matches the thrill of being there for an exciting NFL match up loaded with heart-pounding intensity. Whether it is a spectacular catch, a highlight-ready run, or an eye-popping throw, the NFL has you covered if you are looking for top-tier football action that you'll be talking about well after it's over. There has never been a better time to head out to the stands so you can actually feel the intensity of the crowd in a way that you never can from your living room. Tickets to see the Bills play at their home venue of Ralph Wilson Stadium are always hot sellers for a reason, as the Bills are usually one of the best teams in the AFC and often host some of the toughest opponents that the conference has to offer. Home games featuring the Bills are always great, though there is something great about being on the road as well, as there is nothing quite like watching your favorite team as they hope to silence the home crowd to the joy of the true fans that made the trip. Don't miss out on any of the Buffalo Bills action this season.

Buffalo Bills AFC East

The Buffalo Bills play in the AFC East, which has traditionally been among the toughest divisions in the entire NFL. The New England Patriots enter the season as the defending champions and are annually a popular preseason pick to make it to the Super Bowl behind quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick. The Miami Dolphins barely missed out on a wildcard playoff berth in 2013 and have added running back Knowshon Moreno to their roster as well as bringing in some key draft picks that should make them even more dangerous this season. The New York Jet also fell just short of the playoffs last season and have added several key pieces including quarterback Michael Vick who will back up Geno Smith and possibly be used in special situations. The Buffalo Bills have C.J. Spiller in their backfield, a running back who can break a big play at any moment and have also added superstar Mario Williams to their defense in hopes of moving up the AFC East standings.

The Bills have missed out on the playoffs every year since 1999, making them the only team in the NFL yet to make the playoffs in the 21st Century.
