Inspiration found from Elton John’s 50th birthday party was what sparked producer Harley Medcalf to create Burn
the Floor, an energetic and colorful troupe of Latin dancers and ballroom dancers who originally came together at the end
of the ‘90s when a film contract with Universal allowed a plethora of ballroom and Latin dance experts to appear together

Luxor hotel. As the years have continued to respond well to the crew, Burn the Floor remains one of the top Latin/Ballroom
