Cans, bottles, coolers and other beverage containers are prohibited from Byrd Stadium.

University of Maryland College, Park, MD 20742: From Baltimore (and North): Take I-95 South to exit 25B, College Park/U.S. Route 1 South. After approx. one mile, take a right-hand turn exit off U.S. 1 and onto Route 193 West. Go past two traffic lights to Stadium Drive and make a left onto Stadium Drive. From Baltimore/Washington International Airport: Take I-95 West to I-95 South. Travel to Exit 25B and follow the directions from Baltimore. From Reagan National Airport: Take I-395 North until it terminates at New York Ave. and exit at Maryland Route 295 North (Baltimore/Washington Parkway). Exit at Maryland Route 193 West (Greenbelt Road) and follow straight for three miles to Stadium Drive. Make a left onto Stadium Drive. From Washington/Richmond (and South): Take I-95 North to Exit 23 from the Beltway (MD 201-Kenilworth Ave.) South to either MD 193 or Paint Branch Road and turn right (westbound). Cross U.S. 1 and follow the signs to the events. From Dulles International Airport (and West): Dulles Toll Road to I-495 West. Take 495 West (Washington Beltway) for approx. 25 minutes to Exit 25B. Take the above directions from Baltimore and points North. From Virginia and points West: Take exit 28 from the Beltway (MD 650-New Hampshire Ave.) South to Adelphi Road. Make a left onto Adelphi and follow to MD 193. Make a left onto MD 193 and follow the signs.

Parking passed at Byrd Stadium cost $70 for the season or $10 per game for 7 home games. Terrapin Club members may purchase season tickets and thus be eligible for football parking benefits. Parking assignments and lots are not guaranteed to be the same from year to year. The following lots are available for cash parking on game days: Yellow, White and Black. Parking permits must be displayed from your rearview mirror.

Byrd Stadium celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2000 and has hosted national championship football, men s and women s lacrosse teams, over 50 ACC track and field championships and more. At one memorable football game, the Queen of England even visited Byrd Stadium! The Byrd Stadium has also been a regular site for the NCAA men s lacrosse Final Four.
