BYU Cougars Football Team Info
Coming off of an exciting 2013 season and a great spring, the
Cougars are looking to round into form and put together another season that will have everyone buzzing around town. Of course,
much of the spring optimism is due to a much more proficient offense, with signal caller Taysom Hill looking like the real
deal and the offense as a whole looking much more explosive. With an improving offense, the Cougars will have the type of
balance that will go a long way in making a big mark on the season as they head into a regular season again loaded with promise
The BYU Cougars are not aligned with any specific conference yet they have regular games against Utah
and Utah State. The school is one of only seven universities not associated with a conference for football, the others being:
Navy, Notre Dame, Army, Old Dominion, New Mexico State, and Idaho. The BYU Cougars football team has one of the most loyal
fan bases in all of NCAA football. That fervor of this fan base is apparent at every single home games. Many of the fans also
make a point of heading out to see the BYU Cougars on the road, providing even more opportunities for fans to join in the
action as they look to make a big move up the conference standings.

BYU Cougars Football History
The BYU Cougars have
won big games and earned invites to many top bowl games like the Cotton Bowl Classic, Liberty Bowl, Motor City Bowl and many
others. BYU is independent instead of playing in a set conference, meaning that they are on their own when it comes to rankings
every year. Even so, the BYU Cougars have developed quite the following over the years. This year's team should be well prepared
to improve upon last year's 8-5 record with quarterback Taysom Hill returning for his junior year and looking to make big
strides. He will have the help of stud recruits defensive end Isaiah Nacua and wide receiver Devon Blackmon who should be
able to make big contributions during their rookie year.
