The overwhelming favorite to win the Mountain West Conference this season is the BYU Cougars. With some of their most productive members from last year’s team (which went undefeated in conference play) coming back to lead the charge, there are even some who predict BYU could play for the national championship. So come on out to see the stars in Provo, Utah-- including quarterback Max Hall and tailback Harvey Unga—with some BYU Cougars football tickets.
The Cougars won their first national championship in 1984 behind the great play of quarterback Bobbie Bosco, who was a Heisman Trophy candidate that year. NCAA football tickets were extremely hard to get in the mid 1980s, but BYU games are still very well-attended nowadays. Success is the norm at Brigham Young, as the Cougars have been making regular bowl game appearances in the 2000s. The Cougars play at LaVelle Edwards Stadium on the Brigham Young campus.
BYU ended the 2007 season with ten straight wins, including a close bowl game victory over UCLA. The AP Poll had the Cougars ranked as the No. 14 team in the country in the final poll of the year. The Cougars went after some speed in their tight end and receiver corps in the offseason, so they should be one of the most dangerous teams in the MWC right off the bat. You can see the Cougars continue to dominate with some Brigham Young football tickets, available now. The Cougars bring a ten-game winning streak into 2008.
