The Colonial Athletic Association currently has a dozen University members scattered about the East coast. In order to have been to the first basketball tournament in the CAA, you would have had to have gotten NCAA basketball tickets back in 1983. The conference championship game has been won by many different teams over the years, but recently UNC-Wilmington has been hot, securing the title in 2000, '02, '03, and '06.
