Cake came together in Sacramento in 1992 and released their first album by themselves but they were soon discovered by Capricorn and offered a record deal. Capricorn had Cake re-release their first single "Rock 'n Roll Lifestyle" in 1993. Their success continued throughout the '90s and they continue to make music today.
