Although many people consider the Fullerton baseball program to be the University's strongest athletic program, these NCAA basketball tickets are still very hot items among students and alumni. The Fullerton Titans went to the NCAA Tournament in 1979, making it all the way to the Sweet 16. They also made the NIT several times, including in 2005.
The Cal State Fullerton Titans play in the Big West Conference, so they have developed rivalries with other California schools, such as the Long Beach State 49ers and the Cal Poly Mustangs.
